What is it about?
In this paper I describe two additional manuscripts of Targum Chronicles, one of the rarest among the Targumim (Jewish Aramaic translations of the Bible). One of them, today in Berlin, went unnoticed by scholars of Targum Chronicles, possibly due to faulty catalogue descriptions. The second, from Dresden, was thought to have been completely destroyed during WWII, but a physical examination of its remains reveals that it still contains at least some parts of this Targum. With this newly available data I offer a brief re-evaluation of the complex textual tradition of Targum Chronicles.
