What is it about?
One of the most significant events to occur in Kfarze (Kurmanji Kevirzê, Turkish Altıntaş) within the last century or more was the murder of its chief (agha) in December of 1959. In this article, we publish a series of interviews about this event between three native speakers of Ṭuroyo (an Eastern Neo-Aramaic language) in their native language.
