What is it about?
Two verbs express 'give' in Aramaic, 'yhb' and 'ntn'. In pre-modern Aramaic they occur in suppletion, but in Neo-Aramaic only the former has survived. The articles investigates the distribution of the two verbs and focuses on the many different forms of 'yhb' in the Neo-Aramaic dialects.
