What is it about?

Tycho Brahe published very specific dimensions of his astronomy-alchemy research institute, Uraniborg. He also gave considerable detail about the timing for the building's foundation-laying ceremony. All of these details suddenly make good sense if we understand the building as being designed on talismanic principles, designed to improve the astral influences that assist scholarly work. Talismanic principles that explain this building were given broadly by Ficino, and in finer detail for application by Agricola.

Why is it important?

This explanation achieves much more than the usual generic (and unsupportable) interpretation of the architecture as Palladian.
