Why is it important?

There is a lot of contemporary interest in secularism. Some take it as 'a given'. That may or may not work in the West. To do so doesn't make sense in today's Africa.

Perspectives

Writing this book enabled me to share some very personal things, and especially to show how linguistic naivety can interfere with understanding of Africa by the West.
