Factors Leading to Primary School Dropout in Community Families – the Case of Kosovo

What is it about?

School dropout due to abandonment by their peers among the children’s participating in the study has turned out to be a dominant factor in school dropout. Unfortunately, this has been a negative role model for them. Even the schools they attended did not fulfill their mission to provide a pleasant learning environment by ranking this factor as the second most influential in dropping out of school._x000D_ Persistent bullying by other students has also been a major factor in dropping out of school._x000D_ What is worrying in this research is that a significant part of the children dropped out of school because they couldn't enroll in school on the grounds that the Municipal Education Directorates failed to provide the additional funds needed to provide staff and provide of acceptable learning conditions._x000D_
