What is it about?

We test the impact of ethnic diversity and decrease in size of majority group on welfare attitudes using a global sample of around 100 countries and 310,000 respondents. Our results show that the effect of ethnic fractionalization is conditioned by whether or not the respondent holds skeptical attitudes towards ethnic and racial others.
