What is it about?
Every day, every EU citizen uses objects connected to the internet, these are constantly processing data that is relevant for health purposes. Many of these objects can also be used to support users in improving or managing their health and well-being. It is of great important that users are able to fully benefit from the possibilities afforded by technology, while being protected and given the tools that allows them to protect their rights and interests when deciding on the use of such connected objects. _x000D_ This paper looks into the existing EU legal framework governing uses of data, uncovering intersections, grey zones and blind spots concerning privacy but also data quality, acceptability, availability and accessibility of data.
