What is it about?
This paper presents the original design for a course on International dispute prevention and resolution (IDPR), based on experiential learning pedagogy (ELA) techniques to offer students an efficient and modern environment to learn negotiation. The course teaches that international negotiation is a fundamental means of dispute prevention and is based on the premise that experiential pedagogy enhances the effectiveness to prepare the students to be the international negotiators of tomorrow. The course’s objective is to provide the students with a pedagogy which offers “greater engagement with course materials, more nuanced understandings of global complexity, and increased ability to link theory to practice”.
