What is it about?
Can psychoanalysis help us make sense of intellectual debates? This piece answers in the positive, using some concepts developed by French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan (1901-1981) and some of his followers to analyse scholarly discussions concerning the history of international law, and in particular a postcolonial approach to such a history.
