Why is it important?
The book review presents my early ideas on global history and international law. More specifically, it aimed to contribute to the discussions on the relationship between universalism and regionalism, an understudied topic in international law.
Perspectives
The ideas explored in this book review are of fundamental importance to my current research project on the emergence and circulation of the principle of non-intervention in Latin America in the twentieth century.
