Why is it important?
Apart from giving an insight into the lives of Christians in south-east Asia, the research shows how people belonging to the same religion and theoretically believing the same things nevertheless vary significantly because of cultural pressures. So, this is a paper that helps to detect and measure the impact of culture on beliefs.
Perspectives
This data was difficult to collect and involved extensive travel and expense. Any international comparisons are difficult to achieve and deserve notice from the scholarly community.
