This article is about the state of the art of comparison in the discipline of religious studies, with particular attention to the academic study of Indigenous religious traditions. After reviewing two important recent works on comparison in religious studies, the author reviews some recent trends pertaining to the advancement of comparison in the academic study of Indigenous religious traditions.
