What is it about?
This study critically examines the state of Ghanaian churches from the perspective of believers or church members. It used the Greater Accra Region as a case study and 455 study participants were drawn from five municipalities.

Why is it important?
This study is very relevant considering the Ghanaian religious setting where the majority of the population are Christians. The findings of the study have been able to provide the validity or invalidity of some of the growing concerns about the state of Ghanaian churches. The recommendations from findings are geared toward the effective growth of churches in Ghana and the need to invest in research to give churches the right direction to grow, both physically and spiritually.
Perspectives
We consider this study as very relevant for today and the future. It will definitely be one of the impactful ecclesiological studies in Ghana for future references. It provides a comprehensive and easy-to-grasp presentation of findings and discussions. It is for all categories of readers; scholars, religious leaders and ordinary church members.
