What is it about?
This paper explores the influence of German Pietism on the radical evangelical Christian movement known as the Brethren movement. It analyzes the evangelical strategies of the early Brethren missionaries in light of the multi-stranded influences of Pietism, which provided the Open Brethren with direct models for their evangelical work in China and Southeast Asia.
