What is it about?

John Calvin as a young scholar discussed what the bishop was in early Christian thought and church. He alsodiscussed if the Roman-catholic bishops of the early sixteenth century acted according to this model and ideal. He concluded that only Jesus Christ is the real Bishop (meaning, the one who can supervize the Church).
