Why is it important?

Description of selected texts from the websites of the Ukrainian ministry, concerning the specific damage that was caused to the environmenat in Ukraine as a result of the war. In the case of ministerial websites of other countries, these were messages referring to the reactions to the war in Ukraine in the environmental context.

Perspectives

The Ukrainian ministry regularly publishes information about the losses that nature is suffering every day as a result of hostilities. In opposition to this narrative are ministerial communications from the countries neighbouring with Ukraine. The lack of any reference to the dramatically deteriorating condition of the environment in Ukraine because of the war, indicates that the danger to the natural heritage that crosses national borders is practically unnoticed.
