Chriselatium schubarti, a new genus and new species of inland sesarmid crab from Java, Indonesia (Brachyura, Thoracotremata)

What is it about?

An unusual and unexpected new genus and new species of inland sesarmid crab is described from Bogor in Indonesia. Its most closely related to marin genera like Lithoselatium and Selatium, but is easily recognised by its distinctive chelipeds and carapace.
