The Christoph Schubart Decapod Collections

What is it about?

The decapod collection of Christoph D. Schubart, including physical specimens and molecular samples, was recently relocated from the University of Regensburg to the Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change. This note includes a first overview of the taxa that are potentially included in this collection, including marine, freshwater, and terrestrial material from all over the world. We encourage scientists to use this resource extensively and keep the scientific legacy of Christoph alive and inspiring new questions on decapod systematics.
