What is it about?
1. Most intersex E. sinensis in aquaculture may be genetically female crabs undergoing masculinization processes. 2. These crabs exhibit a combination of both external and internal gender characteristics, with the extent of intersexuality varying among individuals. 3. These intersex crabs may engage in normal mating behavior, their abnormal internal reproductive system structures may impede proper fertilization, ovulation, or egg production. 4. AG in intersex crabs did not inhibit ovarian development.
