Thermoregulation and activity patterns of three species of snakes with different lifestyles in central Mexico

What is it about?

This article describes the thermal ecology of three species of snakes that have distinctive lifestyles. We focus on how their habits influence their thermoregulation strategies. Our results show that their lifestyles allow these species to exploit the thermal characteristics of their environments in distinct ways.
