The prevailing scholarly opinion understands Num 28–29 to simply be a supplement to the similar-yet-shorter law in Lev 23. This article argues against such a view, rather suggesting that Num 28–29 have clear ideological, sociological and theological distinctions that move it beyond Lev 23.
