What is it about?
This note first argues that Ch. 869 should be assigned to Aegisthus rather than being reassigned as it has been by some scholars. It also demonstrates that the first interjection in Aegisthus' death-cry (e e) marks his speech as effminate rather than the second interjection (otototoi) as many scholars have argued.
