What is it about?
This note examines the short mythical narrative about Amphiaraus and Adrastus at the beginning of Pindar's Sixth Olympian Ode. By offering a fresh interpretation of the sentence of lines 17 to 18, this article aims to confirm the analogy that some scholars see, next to the primary analogy between the victor Hagesias and Amphiaraus, between Hieron and Adrastus.
