What is it about?

As guest editor for Vol. 51 (2024) of the Journal of Chinese Philosophy, the introduction aims to emulate Plato's Symposium in the sense that the first work in the volume forms a foundation that echoes in subsequent works - the echoes are thematic and repeat in different registers according to the contributing author's topic and interest, e.g., from American pragmatism and Heidegger to Zen Buddhism as literature and Lu Nan's photography.
