Why is it important?

This study of minor ritual acts of silence furthers Anne-Christine Horborgs notion, and help to elaborate our understanding of ritual creativity by showing how minor ritual acts work to create new practices in this specific contex of green sprituality. It also shows how silence enables skills of communication and listening, and how it modifies human noiseness and enables and deep encounter with nature.

Perspectives

By giving an example of how minor ritual acts can be used as a theoretical tool, I hope this article will inspire others in their interest of ritual Studies.
