What is it about?

Why is it important?
Comparing Argentina and Canada, two countries with a significant number of Moroccan Jews, allows us to better understand their experiences in the different processes of de-colonization that defined the Americas and Morocco.
Perspectives
This essay was a joint project with Yolanda Cohen, an expert on the Moroccan Jewish experience in Canada. Sharing our expertise with each other was a wonderful way to learn about the similarities and differences between the two cases we described.
