What is it about?
This is the first chapter to my monograph, _In Good Company: The Body and Divinization in the Thought of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ and Daoist Xiao Yingsou_. It follows Christian reflections on the body that Teilhard would have been familiar with: from New Testament theologies through St. Thomas Aquinas. It also corrects some common misconceptions about the body in Christian theology.

Why is it important?
This book reimagines the resurrected body in such a way as to increase appreciation for our physical bodies in the present life. It gives a renewed view of the body that amplifies the spiritual significance of body, creation, and physicality.
Perspectives
This is my initial attempt to articulate the intuitions I've gained from a comparative reading of Daoism and Christianity that answers many of my own questions of faith.
