What is it about?

In this paper I am studying the formation of the Evangelical Union. It was formed with a model of ministry that was student led. This model then influenced youth ministry in the schools and churches. Youth ministry was transformed to be led by young people themselves rather than parents or clergy. It became a ministry of youth, not a ministry for youth.

This paper will help those who study youth ministry to examine models of ministry. It will raise practical questions like: 1. How is Christian identity formed in young people? 2. How do we empower the leadership of youth in this day of professional youth ministry? and 3. What is the impact of co-education on youth ministry?
