What is it about?

Supporters of the Russian World, having started the Russian-Ukrainian war, constantly declare their Christian messianism, although in reality they follow an ideology in which archaic Russian paganism is mixed with the ideas and methods of Bolshevism.

Why is it important?

Religious studies have never played a leading role in changing the paradigms of science, as was the case with history, biology or linguistics. The events of the Russian-Ukrainian war show that underestimation of religious motives in the policy of a nuclear state can put the world on the brink of disaster, no matter how outwardly harmless the souvenir-export forms of Russian Orthodoxy may seem.

Perspectives

In mainstream Religious Studies, knowledge about Russian Orthodoxy was exotic, although it is the study of the current state of Russian Orthodoxy with its deviation from the universal trinitarian religion that would allow political scientists to more accurately model the behavior of political leaders who deeply adapted Russian Orthodoxy in their existential experience.
