What is it about?

The XyloPhone is an open source smartphone attachment that permits anyone to collect scientific quality macroscopic images on their smartphone. With a cost of less than 110 USD, it has the potential to be applied in the global fight against illegal logging, by supply chain integrity personnel in industry, and by hobbyists, citizen-scientists interested in the macroscopic world, and even in classrooms around the world.
