Why is it important?
The Shia community is a minority in the Muslim minority population of Norway, and has been an almost neglected field of research. With this article we therefore aim to add new knowledge to this field.
Perspectives
Writing this article together with my co-author Ingvild Flaskerud has been a great experience, and I have learned a lot from her long experience in this field. I hope this article provides the readers with new and useful information and insights on Shiism in Norway, and may contribute to map religious diversities in Norwegian society.
