It helped to reveal that interventions for occupational health and safety should be based on specific occupations and the susceptibility of informal sector workers to certain kinds of occupational health impairment.

Perspectives

Few studies on occupational health and safety exist in Nigeria, and investigation on the health and safety informal sector workers seem to be neglected by researchers. This study has made it possible to predict good occupational health and safety practices based on gender, education level and occupations of the informal sector workers.
