Why is it important?

Reexamining the language that revolutionaries use against the actions they take to achieve their goals can help us understand the future they hope to create in the present.

Perspectives

The revolutionary ideology of the Ambazonian movement has shifted from a peaceful approach to one of violence. This shift helps to eclipse the premise of the revolution. As a result the initial goals of the movement cannot be achieved. There's a need for English-speaking Cameroonian activists to match their revolutionary language with their revolutionary action to achieve viable, prefigurative political goals.
