What is it about?
The paper is about describes the effects of the land redistribution policy of a government, particularly on those farmers who have assumed linkage with the previous regime. The policy is used as a means of reprisal by the incumbent government.

Why is it important?
It is important primarily for the external community to know such kinds of injustice and maladministration. Since the farmers are not allowed to appeal, no compensation and they are told to be quiet by the government organs at different levels. Secondarily, it will pave the way for similar issues to emerge.
Perspectives
Similar maladministration problems are committed here and there, especially among rural farmers. Let alone their land rights, but also other human rights are being violated. Large numbers of farmers are mistreated by political elites which needs further research and investigation.
