What is it about?

Revenge pornography (porn) is the online distribution of sexually uncensored images/videos of another person without consent and to cause embarrassment/torment. This paper highlights the prevalence of revenge porn in Nigeria and proposes legal solutions to address this phenomenon.

The study found that the current state of laws in Nigeria are ill-equipped to tackle of revenge porn. It canvasses for the criminalization of non-consensual porn and makes a case for cyber-censorship of contents by internet service service providers.
