What is it about?

This article is a response to the Ten Commandments of Food (TCF) in the context of the marine ecological crisis. While the TCF is an excellent way to deal with food security issue, I find it neglects (unintentionally) the sea, fish and fisher in its formulations. Hence, I present theological arguments which aim for making the TCF include the sea, fish and fisher in its campaign.

Why is it important?

This article insists the importance of the Christian churches to engage with the marine ecological crisis today. The TCF will be a great way to engage practically if it encompasses the sea, fish and fisher in its formulation.

Perspectives

This article would encourage Christian churches to engage with the crisis at sea especially in relation to food security issues.
