International Law as a Cyborg Science

What is it about?

International law academics have increasingly turned to engage deliberately engage computer-oriented technologies. There is little work in the literature that reflects on how this engagement itself takes place, what it tells us about the state of the discipline, and the consequestnes of concentrating on the phenomena of digital technologies. This paper shares some possible conceptual taxonomies and theoretical concerns in disciplinary self-reflection about our digital futures.
