What is it about?

To feel abandoned and/or punished by God, to doubt about God (negative religious coping) is connected to more depressive symptoms. To feel loved and supported by God (positive religious coping) is connected to positive psychological constructs. But why is this the case? What mechanisms explain this relationship? In this cross-sectional research, we looked into HOPE as a potential mediator.
