What is it about?

The study has mainly focused on basic aspects of oviposition preference and behavior of pink bollworm. in the present context, pink bollworm expanding its host ranges from commercial crop to vegetables. We offered malvaceae host plants to decipher the oviposition preference. results revealed that, Pink bollworm clearly differentiates the host plants based on the morphological characteristics and deposit eggs on suitable plants. From the Pink bollworm management perspective, our study emphasized on development of cotton genotypes based on the morphological characteristics.
