What is it about?
Some early Christian thinkers were wary of Aristotle. But others, such as the Methodius of Olympus, who wrote in the third century CE, were unafraid of using Aristotle's biology to support their new doctrine of the resurrection of the body. Methodius wrote his philosophy in the form of dialogues, so to understand what he thinks of Aristotle, we need to understand how the dialogue works as a whole, and how the ideas of the different characters interact.
