Is the Talmud relevant to the practice of business? Nathan Lee Kaplan thinks it is. He argues that managers can resolve contemporary dilemmas in business ethics by mirroring the dialectical nature of Talmudic teaching—which is effected through rational discourse—and by using the Talmud’s mode of analysis to inform a corporation’s management standards.
