What is it about?

This article examines Josephus' depiction of the Judean king Hezekiah in the Antiquities. Some have argued that Josephus' presentation of Hezekiah is ambivalent. I argue that he is overtly positive in his assessment and sees Hezekiah as an ideal king of Judea.
