Why is it important?
Post-Soviet Baptists encounter an unprecedented opportunity to serve in the public sphere but they are limited by their position of non-involvement inherited from the Communist era. This paper proposes some theological perspectives which help to overcome this problem.
Perspectives
I hope this article may help the readers to think creatively about the role of the church in the public sphere. The church is the instrument of God's mission, the Body of Christ that makes him present in this world, and a political entity that proposes an alternative perspective on society.
