What is it about?
Do beliefs about the bible (the Doctrine of Scripture) clash with our study of its manuscripts (textual criticism)? This paper argues for a way forward by looking at ancient authors in the Christian tradition.

Systematic theologians pay little attention to textual criticism; conversely, text critics have not been forthcoming with their theology of Scripture. This paper attempts to bridge the gap.
Perspectives
This article was originally presented to a group of reformed theologians and biblical scholars, and I hope it can be of use to these groups that otherwise only rarely talk to one another.
