What is it about?
China’s Provinces and the Belt and Road Initiative is a book to perfectly investigate and explain the scholarship of sub-state units and its function in the Belt and Road Initiative, hence it is also a quite point-to-point for foreign investment deployment.

Why is it important?
The findings in the book ideally and precisely divide China's para-diplomacy and its sub-projects under BRI, such as China-Russia relations, Greater Bay Area and China-ASEAN relations.
Perspectives
I have traced the author's several publication and Dr. Mierzejewski have formed a universe and kind of "toolkit" to inspect China's para-diplomacy, it's definitely a great book and strong recommended to be a "must-read" one for Contemporary China Studies as the book implies.
