What is it about?

In my understanding, Jean-Luc Nancy sees the soul as the reflection of the body. In my article I try to explore three possibilities how to conceptualise the body itself without the soul, while not violating Nancy's ideas.

Why is it important?

It is unique especially because it integrates some buddhist thinking and also an interesting but almost unknown Czech thinker Růžena Grebeníčková and connects those to Jean-Luc Nancy, an important French philosopher.

Perspectives

I like that I was able to put a Czech perspective on the topic, use my native language knowledge, as well as to put there an excerpt of a Czech baroque poem. The text is very interdisciplinary, I also made use of my knowledge from anthropological studies and integrate a reflection of a Thai buddhist meditation practice.
