What is it about?

The theory of Berger and Luckmann lacks a critical aspect in the social construction of reality by ignoring the role of power and powermongers. Hence, the main goal of this paper is to reconsider Berger and Luckmann's theory by showing how the social construction of reality in Jordan after Covid-19, which prevented many deaths and infections at the beginning of the pandemic, was established by coercive power that reined in spontaneous and routine social activity, thereby controlling the sociocultural context of the virus, and how the scene has been changed dramatically after coerecive power was eased, to be one of the worst situations of Covid-19 infections.
