What is it about?

In this study, based on the previous morphological and morphometric studies and present study, we accepted the genus Ottolenchus Husain and Khan (1967) as a valid genus in family Tylenchidae and add a new species to this genus. This species recovered from mangrove forest in southern Iran and is described and illustrated based on morphological, molecullar and morphometric characteristics. Ottolenchus sinipersici n. sp. differs from other members of the genus Ottolenchus by the presence of small amphidial fovea, smooth vulval flaps, cephalic region dorso-ventrally flattened and very curved spicules.
