What is it about?

Investigation and study of crustaceans are being carried out effectively in many regions of the world, and in the meantime, good studies have been done on crustaceans, especially in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. Despite these valuable studies, there is still a lot of work potential in these areas. In this study, we studied and described one of the rare species of the genus Vellumnus which is the first report in the entire northern Indo-Pacific region. Now with describing Vellumnus pictus n. sp, the Pilumnidae family with 15 genera and 29 species is one of the rich families in the Persian Gulf
